Let me introduce myself....

Hello! I'm Kristin. :) I'm not exactly sure where this blog will lead.....maybe into the never ending internet space, or maybe I will actually be able to make some people laugh while reading stories from my life.
I'm 26 years old. I'm not sure how I feel about that right now. I FEEL like I'm still 18....but seeing the number 26 makes me feel....old. Where have the last 8 years gone?! Scratch that...I know exactly where they have gone....into building my amazing, yet crazy family. I'm a stay at home mom to my 4 silly children. There is not a dull moment in this house!
I've been a mother since I was 18. I know what you are thinking...."she had a baby at 18"....no I didn't. My husband who was my boyfriend at the time, had a son from a previous marriage. He got married and divorced at a very young age. I met him when I was 18, he was 21 and his son was 3.
I never imagined I'd fall in love at 18 and my life would forever change. But it happened...and I'm so happy that it did. My husband and I have been married for almost 7 years and it's been the absolute best 7 years of my life. He certainly is my better half. :)
I became Nicholas' mom when his mother left. I will be honest...being called 'mom' for the first time was scary for me. I didn't want to take over and push his mother aside....but she decided to leave, which put me in the position to love and care for this child. I was up for the challenge!
I've raised Nicholas since he was 3 years old. He will be turning 12 in October. Crazy!!!!!!!!! I've taught him everything, and I'm proud to be his mother. I was meant to be his mother. He is a very spunky kid, full of love and is extremely stubborn (aren't all tweens?!).
Nicholas made me a mom. He made me want a house full of children.....and so we set out to make that happen!
Laura was born in December of 2005. We tried for a very long time to get pregnant with her, and when I finally did become pregnant I was thrilled! When I found out we were to have a girl, I was even more thrilled! Laura has been my little princess from day one. She is 5 and is showing that she is trying to be more independent (NOT ALREADY!!!), she needs lots of love but she shows so much love to everyone around her.
Katelee (Katie) was born in September of 2008. We got pregnant pretty quickly with her. We didn't find out if she was a boy or girl until she was born. We wanted to keep it a surprise to keep things exciting...and well...that just set us up for our little Katie's personality LOL! She is a wild little girl. Loves attention, completely loving and our biggest leader yet!
Last, but certainly not least is my little man William. He was our surprise baby. But the absolute best surprise of my life. He was born in December of 2010. He is crawling (well....the army crawl, but a FAST army crawl!) and getting into everything! His little personality is showing and its a beautiful personality :) He is constantly smiling and just wants love....and we have plenty to give him!
So....that's my crew of children.
They drive me crazy, make me exhausted and frustrated at times....but I wouldn't trade them for anything. They have made my life so full of love.
