Today I decided to have my kiddos make jewelry! When Laura turned 7, we had a big jewelry making party for her and her friends. I bought tons of beads and charms, so we had some left over. I pulled them out for today, and I will tell you, I'm glad I did!! It kept us all busy, and I love to sit at the table with my kids talking, while we craft away. We spent a few HOURS making bracelets, anklets, and necklaces.
Nicholas and William only made one thing each, but they did sit at the table with us talking for a bit. That's what I love the most. Even if one kid doesn't quite love the activity, they still hang out with the rest of us.
Laura made about 10 different things today, including her cute little hippy head band.
I knew she'd sit there for most of the day making new accessories for her outfits. And she certainly did!
Katie also had a good time, putting lots of random but SO HER, beads on her string. She made a bunch of totally cute necklaces and bracelets!
I even got in on the action while I enjoyed my coffee, and made a bracelet.
We all had fun making pretty jewelry, and spending our day with each other. This is definitely an activity that we do a lot, and love it every time!
Sending lots of hugs and smiles your way! <3
